PRODUCT RECYCLING | PART 1

viernes, 18 de septiembre de 2015

Today I’m going to talk about products that I don’t necessarily love for what they are supposed to do, but I like for other purposes. It is always frustrating when you have so much hope for one product and it disappoints you, but I always try to take the best out of everything I buy and here a some of my favorite recycled products.

Sally Girl Baked Eyeshadow » If you are on a budget or you can’t find a nice highlighter at your local store, these are great options, they are mini-sized but they contain a lot of product. They almost give you a wet look on the skin and come in a great variety of shades. I take them mostly when I travel and keep them in my makeup bag.

Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo »  They dry super quickly, and I find they are really hard to blend on the eyes, and I know everyone raves about their staying power but they actually creased on me, even with eyeshadow on top. I use the one I already have as brow pomade. They aren’t the creamiest but I find the shade ‘Tough as Taupe’ looks great with black hair, which I feel is often neglected when it comes to brow products.

Revlon Colorbust Balmstains » I do love them as lipstains, they are on my top list. But I have been also enjoying them as blushes since they are super long lasting and give a pretty glow. The shades I tend to gravitate towards the most are ‘Honey’ (which I don’t like on the lips), ‘Rendezvous’ and ‘Sweetheart’.

I mentioned both Sally Girl Baked Eyeshadows and the Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo on my August Favorites in case you want to check them out. Also, which are your favorite multipurpose products?

  3. Great ideas! I have been known to double up my lip crayons as blushers in blush-related emergencies (there are many!)
