This weekend I am visiting my family in a city 4 hours away from my home. Taking makeup with me on my trips has always been a challenge: I always end up with too much stuff, but this time, I tried really hard to narrow it only to the most essential and multipurpose products.
I got this really cute makeup bag from ebay, you can get it here.
As a primer and SPF, I am taking with me my Etude House Face Conditioning Cream Light (review), for my foundation, the Revlon Colorstay for Normal/Dry skin in shade 180 Sand Beige. I chose a full coverage foundation, but if I want just a little coverage I can use only a tiny bit of product and sheer it out.
I will be using for under my eyes the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB cream Eye Roll-on in the shade Light, and will be setting it with my It’s Skin Babyface Pore Powder.
For some color, I am taking the Elf Contouring Blush & Bonzer duo in St. Lucia, and for a highlight I am taking the Sally Girl Baked Eyeshadow in Golden.
I am keeping it pretty simple with the Nyx ‘Hot Singles’ eyeshadow in #84 Own the night and my Holika Holika Wonder Drawing Browcara in #04 Dark brown, to use it as a setting gel or just by itself (review).
I am taking an Elf Eyelid Primer in travel size, my Elf Liquid Eyeliner in Black, my Covergirl Liquiline Blast in Black Fire for tightlining and the Elf Flawless Eyeshadow quad in Beautiful Browns, which is pretty versatile. For mascara, the Maybelline Colossal Volum Express in 'Glam Black'.
For lipbalm I am taking a Lip Smacker in Cotton Candy, instead of Revo or EOS because the shape can save me some space. For my color I wanted a nude and a bright, so I am taking the Revlon Colorbust Balmstain in Sweetheart and Charm.
